A Word From The President
Dear friends,
It has been a while since I put down a few words and the need to address this particular subject is felt.
Though our website is regularly updated there are times when we miss out on some interesting general information. One subject that slipped off my mind is the several kind invitations that we received from KMS through the years, urging us to join the Malta Sport Council. We sincerely appreciate and honour such trust and thank KMS for their effort.
We do not, however, see Classical Martial Arts “Budo” as having any place in “sport”, we are not in business of sport organization and not interested in politics.
As official representatives within the Maltese Islands for the elite and prestigious Budo society, it is our mission to serve with loyalty the long standing tradition of Dai Nippon Butoku Kai. Classical Budo Malta will therefore stand fulfilling its founding purpose, striving for the development of higher technical skills and education within the true meaning of the Japanese Martial Arts Way, and with greater commitments for excellence whilst preserving the Classical Martial Virtues.
I end this message by once again wishing you good health and harmony in friendship.
