Christian Renshi and Roderick Renshi started practicing Ju-Jitsu at the early age of five years and by their early teens they had won a countless number of National, International and World Titles. Since the teaching of Ju-Jitsu here in Malta was limited and concentrated more as a competitive sport, this motivated Roderick and Christian to move onwards and perfect their techniques in the Classical Art of Jujutsu and Iaijutsu as approved by the Japanese Budo. After years of searching for the right Master, serious contacts were made with Allan Tattersall Hanshi Hachidan Soke Myo Shin Ryu, who took them as his personal students and started training them from scratch.
With
hard work and dedication, and long hours of training, success
was achieved, under the expert supervision of Allan
Tattersall Hanshi, Hachidan, Jujutsu, Official Officer DNBK for
the United Kingdom, who seriously trained the brothers and
awarded them Black Belt (Shodan-Ho) and Coaching licenses and
instituted them representatives of the United Kingdom Jujutsu
Association International for the Maltese Islands. The Classical
Budo Association Malta was formed by the brothers at this stage.
One year later, after a tough mat grading, Christian Renshi and Roderick Renshi were awarded Shodan in Jujutsu and Shodan in Myo Shin Ryu Jujutsu Do (brightness, essence, truth, of technique). Shortly after, the brothers were thoroughly examined and accepted as official members of Japan's premier and elite society, the prestigious Dai Nippon Butoku Kai, and awarded diplomas as official certified Dan grades signed and stamped by Dr. Tesshin Hamada Hanshi chairman of the International Division and his Excellency the Sosai Prince Hagashi Fushimi Jigo. Another honor was conferred upon the brothers when their private Dojo, the Dragon's Den Dojo was instituted the official Dojo in the Maltese Islands for the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai Honbu Japan and the DNBK international division U.S.A. continues..Next page..>>
